Michelle J. Richards, Ph.D. has conducted numerous seminars at national, state, and local conferences, in-services, and community education talks. Some topics include ethics, standard of care, compassion fatigue, multicultural sensitivity, trauma, & military families.
As university faculty, Dr. Richards developed over 15 courses some using distant learning techniques. She has supervised over 100 practicum students. For over 25 years, she's worked with challenging client populations including trauma survivors. She is currently Executive Director and Senior Therapist at Joyful Life Institute, Inc.
