Healthy families are warm, nurturing, organized, effective communicators, skilled problem solvers, and an efficient team. When your level of stress surpasses your level of skills you may notice that your family is not function well. In this case, your family is dysfunctional. It may be difficult to correct the problems in your family because you may be unable to acknowledge the validity each member's perspective.
